My moms dog will pick up whatever you drop and hand it back to you..she gets the paper for you of course..she will also meet the UPS guy and carry the package to the house..given she can hold it in her mouth..she will take things to certain family members as well..she gave me my birthday gift one year..mom handed it to her..and said..take this to michele..and she did.. chele...that's just like lupo...he HAS to carry things...when i had the dive centre, he actually helped out



yup that's him carrying someone's fin....and such a gentle mouth, never bites into anything...and what he can't lift, he'll try and drag!!

he has such a need to carry things...he even takes the leash of my sister's jack russell when they go out walkies together....and he once brought me an ice cream (wrapped of course *L*)

as for vocabulary...this dog understands so many things in not one, not two, but three languages: english, spanish, swedish!!! you really do have to spell things out when he's listening *L*

and thank goodness it's becoming more accepted to talk to one's animals...coz i do it all the time [img]smile.gif[/img]
